Celebration + A Giveaway!

Hello! Today I'm reporting from a dark and dusty corner of the library, but who cares because I have exciting news... I'm taking part in a big group giveaway with my old cronies from Patch Multi-Crafts! 

Get ready for a bit of backstory, it will be worth it in the end, I promise!... Patch Multi-Crafts is the craft store and frame shop where I worked for a year after high school. I can't believe that was 5 years ago! Anyways, all the ladies there were super crafty and loved to show it off so they all had blogs. After a couple months of working there, and of their constant pestering, I decided to jump on the bloggy bandwagon too! I don't want to be cheesy, but... it was the start of something beautiful. Sniff, sniff. ;) Now almost none of the original crew lives in Germany anymore, but we all still read and support each other's blogs. Sometimes when you're a huge craft nerd and [almost] nobody in your real life understands you, it is nice to know you have friends who just get why purchasing some cute new ribbon is, like, thiiiis close to dying and going to heaven. 

And now it's the 5-year anniversary of all the blogs being started! I technically started my blog in October because I was a latecomer to the store, but I'm still jumping in on the group celebration. It also coincides almost perfectly with the 5-year anniversary of my shop [opened on April 6, 2008]!

So everybody's giving away some amazing loot!

Originally I wrote, 'leave a comment telling me what has changed most for you in 5 years'... but I decided if I can't even answer it, then the question is too hard! Basically everything in my life has changed: country of residence, friends, job, boyfriend(s), financial situation [haha!]. The only things that have remained are my blog and shop! :)
